Qatar Tourism Revamping Qatar identity

The brief asked for the revamping of the current established visual identity of the qatar tourism authority (created by Tarek Atrissi Design).
While the existing logo is purely calligraphic, the new approach was to follow the modernization movement in Qatar without disregarding the arab audience (main target audience) and their traditional beliefs.Therefore, while keeping the general shape of the old logo and its calligraphic feel, the new logo is a modernized arabic calligraphic script with more parallelism and repetitions in the brush stroke movement.
In addition to that, Mrs Eaves, a contemporary revival of the font used in the old logo (Baskerville), was used in the new one.
